REGIS ARS requires a valid license for use. License activation is performed online and associates the purchased license with the computer on which the application is installed.

Obtaining Your License Key

When REGIS ARS is purchased from Siger Studio, a unique license key is generated automatically and included in the purchase order.

A Siger Studio customer account is also created during checkout. The license key remains available in the account and can be retrieved at any time.

To find the license key:

  1. Visit Siger Studio and sign in to your customer account.
  2. Open Customer Area > Orders.
  3. Select the REGIS ARS purchase order.
  4. Copy the license key provided in the order details.

Keep your license key secure and do not share it with others.

License Activation

An internet connection is required to activate REGIS ARS.

  1. Install and launch REGIS ARS.
  2. If no valid activation is found, the License Activation window opens automatically.
  3. Copy the license key from your purchase order and paste it into the activation field.
  4. Click Activate to begin online activation.
  5. After successful activation, close the activation dialog if necessary. REGIS ARS will open with the activated license.

The activation information is stored on the computer. The license key does not need to be entered each time the application starts.

License Deactivation

A license can be deactivated when moving REGIS ARS to another computer, reinstalling Windows, or making significant changes to the computer.

Whenever possible, deactivate the license before making these changes.

To deactivate the license:

  1. Launch REGIS ARS and save any open projects.
  2. Open Help > Deactivate License.
  3. Confirm the deactivation request.
  4. REGIS ARS attempts to release the activation on the licensing server and removes the locally stored activation information.
  5. The application closes after deactivation.

An internet connection is required to release the activation on the licensing server.

If the server cannot be reached, the local activation information is still removed, but the activation may remain registered on the server. In this case, contact Siger Studio for assistance before activating the license on another computer.

To use REGIS ARS again, launch the application and follow the standard activation procedure.

License and Maintenance Plan

REGIS ARS is supplied with a perpetual license and an initial 12-month Maintenance Plan.

The Maintenance Plan provides access to eligible software updates released during its active period. Renewing the plan after the initial period is optional.

Expiration of the Maintenance Plan does not deactivate the licensed software or remove the right to use versions already covered by the license.
