REGIS ARS (Artist Reference Studio) is a desktop application designed for traditional artists. It provides practical tools for preparing visual references, exploring composition, analyzing colors and values, working with accurate physical dimensions, and documenting the creative process.
Unlike digital painting applications, REGIS ARS focuses on reference preparation and study, supporting the artist’s work with traditional media.
Three Independent Modules
REGIS ARS includes three dedicated modules:
- Studio – Prepare and arrange references using composition guides, grids, color analysis, and precise dimensions.
- Viewer – Study images in a simplified workspace with zoom, grids, grayscale viewing, and calibrated physical dimensions.
- Journal – Document the creative process through work sessions, notes, images, videos, and final artwork records.
Each module operates independently, with its own workspace and project management.
This manual describes the available features, settings, and workflows of each module.
